Nirvana / Aneurysm
It’s just one of those days.
Internet Explorer 6 is dead - and the funeral is in Denver
Internet Explorer Six, resident of the interwebs for over 8 years, died the morning of March 1, 2010 in Mountain View, California, as a result of a workplace injury sustained at the headquarters of Google, Inc. Internet Explorer Six, known to friends and family as “IE6,” is survived by son Internet Explorer Seven, and grand-daughter Internet Explorer Eight.
Funeral services for Internet Explorer Six will be held at 7pm on March 4 at Aten Design Group, 1629 Downing Street, Denver, CO 80218. Those unable to attend the funeral are asked to send flowers.
This idea sprouted from our big Sunday brunch - so I can’t take credit for it. It’s the same concept as Critical Mass, just at a level on which more of us can relate.
It’s real simple. Eat a huge meal, then we’ll go stop traffic by napping in the street. We can start off small in a low-traffic neighborhood. The bonus here is that a lot of us move around in our sleep, so the route will just work itself out! It’s fool-proof.
As a new rule, or perhaps short-term experiment, I’d love to see us include the number of times we take a picture of yourself (POY) before posting the final result. We’ve all done it!
Come on… we all blog. You have to admit that’s pretty vain to begin with. Maybe it’ll be good to embrace that and laugh at ourselves a little bit. Or maybe help us realize just how controlled our online identities really are.
Next time I post a pic of myself, I promise to do this. I wonder what the average number of takes would be - 3, 5, 10?!
Now that site traffic has died down and the servers are cool again, check out our nice collaboration with Gridplane and Invisible Creature.
Maybe a trip to Sasquatch will be my birthday present to myself this year ;)
St Johns Bridge. We must have ridden at least 30 miles today. Beautiful!
Time to break out the cornhole set and the barbecue!
I forgot more things we’re doing this weekend!
You CAN’T say no to these things! Wheeee!
These are the days that make you wanna listen to Strutter on repeat.
That sums up the next three days. Oh and a massive omelette brunch.
No time to blog, get outside!
Gracias, El Niño.
