The new fad in Portland (everywhere?) is very tiny bikes. Like smaller than BMX. Guys look pretty ridiculous riding them around.

Since you mentioned this the other day I’ve been paying more attention to the dudes I ride by and this weekend I noticed way more guys on tiny children’s bikes.  Not only do guys look ridiculous, but there’s no way riding like that is comfortable.  And they’ll look even more ridiculous when they crash - Ha! (Not that I want that to happen).

I think this is the Zoobombers’ influence - which will only increase now that they have that shrine downtown.

Or maybe we can blame this on the economy as well.  Portlanders are so strapped that they’re forced to steal bikes from kids!  In my mind, Josh Brolin is the only person allowed to do that.  Think about it.
