While riding into work this morning down Irving (in the bike lane, mind you) a pickup truck coming from the opposite direction made a left turn directly in front of me.  The guy didn’t even look until I was right at his passenger side door. Thankfully my brakes work reeeeally well.  The guy didn’t do anything but accelerate on to his next potential victim.  Argh.

Drivers, please be aware that when you cross over a bike lane during rush hour there is really good chance that a cyclist is there.  So for fuck’s sake put down your cell phone, coffee mug, makeup kit or Golden Retriever and LOOK!
